PRP is the process of taking a small amount of blood from a person's body, separating the plasma with a special process, and returning it to the scalp by injection. The plasma obtained is quite rich in cells called "platelets". Platelets, whose main function in the body is to ensure blood clotting, play an important role in wound healing thanks to the growth factors they contain.
A daily hair loss of 50-100 strands is considered normal. If it is more than this, hair loss should be taken seriously. During the PRP procedure, the patient's own blood is taken and passed through a device. Here, the part that will nourish the roots, called fibroblasts, and ensure their development is separated and injected into the shed area with a very small needle.
The basis of this application is tissue regeneration. Hair treatment with PRP takes about 30 minutes, and there is no scarring afterwards, and the person can immediately continue their routine life.
